Not all solar systems are created equal.
A solar system is a long-term investment in how your home produces and manages energy. The technology behind that system matters. From the panels on your roof to the electronics underneath them and the battery managing stored energy, we build around equipment we trust to perform.
Great solar starts with quality equipment.
Two solar systems can look nearly identical from the street while being very different underneath. Panel technology, efficiency, inverter architecture, monitoring and energy storage all play a role in how the system performs. That is why we are selective about the equipment we put our name behind.
A few trusted favorites. The right one depends on you.
We don't believe there is one panel that is automatically right for every home. We work with premium module manufacturers that give us flexibility to match the equipment to the project.

Hyundai HIN Series
- Module efficiencies reaching approximately 22.5% depending on model
- Bifacial options capable of capturing light from both sides of the module
- Modern N-type cell technology within the HIN product family
- Strong performance in varied residential roof and weather conditions
Hyundai gives us a strong combination of modern technology, high efficiency, attractive all-black residential options and the backing of a globally recognized manufacturer.

REC Alpha Series
- Premium module efficiencies reaching 22%+ depending on Alpha model
- Advanced heterojunction cell technology
- Excellent low-light and varied-weather performance
- High power density makes REC particularly useful where available roof space is limited
- Modules have more of a blue sheen to them which some homeowners prefer.
REC is one of our premium choices when maximizing production from available roof space is important. The Alpha platform combines excellent efficiency with proven premium residential technology.

Qcells Q.PEAK & Q.TRON
- High-efficiency residential module options reaching approximately 22%+
- Q.ANTUM technology engineered for strong real-world energy yield
- Q.TRON expands the lineup with newer high-efficiency cell architecture
- Large manufacturing presence and established residential track record
Qcells gives us a dependable, proven residential platform with a broad product lineup and strong manufacturing scale. It is an excellent fit for a wide range of Connecticut homes.
Why we're fans of microinverter technology.
Solar panels produce DC electricity, but your home uses AC. The inverter is responsible for converting that power. While there can be some efficiency tradeoff with panel level DC to AC conversion, we believe the benefits of individual panel management, monitoring and system flexibility far outweigh the argument for using a traditional string inverter.

A proven microinverter platform built around each individual panel.
Enphase has been developing microinverter technology for nearly two decades. Rather than relying on one central inverter for an entire string of panels, an Enphase system places a microinverter at each module so each panel can convert and manage its own production.

Your equipment has to work together.
Choosing premium components is only part of building a great solar system. The panels, microinverters, monitoring, utility connection and optional battery storage all need to be designed as one complete energy system.
Your home uses solar production first. Depending on the system configuration and applicable utility program, additional production can be stored in a battery or sent through the utility meter.
That's why we look beyond the panel itself. Equipment selection should support the way the entire home energy system is intended to operate.
FranklinWH
For homeowners looking to add backup power and greater control over their home's energy, FranklinWH's aPower 2 combines substantial usable storage with high power output and intelligent whole-home energy management.
Meet the aGate.
FranklinWH's aGate serves as the energy-management hub of the system, coordinating the battery, solar, utility connection and supported home loads at once.
